The African Heritage Cultural Arts Centers presents The Black Life Experience, an evening of visual art and live music on Friday, January 23rd at 6:00pm at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, 6161 NW 22nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33142.
Guest will be greeted in the courtyard by the sounds & visual light show of DJ TARIQUE and live painting performances. The Amadlozi Gallery opening exhibition, curated by Aramis O’Reilly will premier works featuring national artists, Donovan Crony, Edward Drew, and Miami native, Robert McKnight.
The evening will transition to a live neo-soul concert in the Narcisse Theater at 8pm, where patrons will hear the sounds of rising stars and AHCAC alumni, Courtney Mickens and Nicole Clark. Passed hors d’oeuvres will be served by Northwestern Culinary Academy.
The Amadlozi exhibition is free to attend; neo-soul concert tickets are $15.
