The first Knight Cities Challenge collected over 7,000 applications. More than 600 focused on the Miami community, and we selected 11 of the ideas as finalists in the $5 million challenge. While reviewers and Knight staff evaluate the final applications, we’d like to invite you to meet the Miami community finalists.

We’ll recap what’s happened in the Knight Cities Challenge, and talk about what’s next. The finalists will present their projects and participate in a discussion. You’ll even get a chance to talk with them about their ideas.
