In celebration of their 25th anniversary, Mission International Rescue Charities (MIR Charities) is partnering with Quality Meats Miami Beach for an exclusive, grand opening benefit party on Thursday, February, 26, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Founded by Lian Fanjul de Azqueta in 1990, with an initial donation made by Alfonso, her brother, MIR has helped children and families escape poverty by identifying and addressing their needs through educational services and collaborative programs. Today, 1,200 children are enrolled at MIR’s schools, in grades Kindergarten through 12th. However, the organization relies solely on donations, and fundraising events are key to its success.
The restaurant, a popular New York dining destination, is celebrating the opening of its South Beach outpost, located at 1501 Collins Avenue. Tickets to this event are priced at $150 per person. Guests will have an opportunity to preview the restaurant’s delicious cuisine and ambiance by way of lavish food stations, free-flowing cocktails and a performance by DJ Gringo. They will also have a chance to bid on not-to-be-missed items during a live auction.
