The open-to-the-public, charitable event, presented by Pure Formula’s, will feature a certified 5K run/walk course, family activities and live entertainment. The start line is set for Gulliver Preparatory School, and the finish line for the school’s Sean Taylor Memorial Field, where participants will get a chance to wind down at the event’s “Olympic Village,†featuring live musical entertainment, complimentary food and beverages and a slew of not-to-be-missed activities.
Expected attendees include Pinecrest Councilman Doug Kraft; inspirational athlete Doctor Dribble; Alyson Venti, a local runner who will be on the US 24 Hour National Team in Italy this April; and former baseball pitcher Danys Báez González, among other community influencers and notable personalities. The 5K is proudly supported by local running icon Frankie Ruiz with packet pick-ups available at Sole Runners.
Registration for this event is priced at $25.00 per participant in advance or $30.00 on the day of the race.
