To commemorate another successful year of dedication to end the water and sanitation crisis, BLUE Missions is hosting its 5th Annual Cocktail fundraiser on May 9 at Florida International University. For over five years, BLUE Missions has served the Miami community in educating young adults of the overwhelming need for clean water and sanitation in poverty-stricken communities abroad through authentic immersion experiences in the Dominican Republic.
The evening features an open bar stocked with premium-brand liquor provided by Southern Wine & Spirits, hors d’oeuvres and dinner catered by Cole Catering, live music by Afro-Latin funk band Suénalo and professional singer/songwriter, Keba, along with beats by DJ Mandy.
The 5th Annual BLUE Cocktail is an opportunity for all to join BLUE Missions in celebrating five years’ worth of accomplishments, memories, and togetherness in the unstoppable quest of water-giving. Join BLUE Missions on Saturday, May 9 from 7:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. in FIU’s Ernest R. Graham Center Ballroom, located at 11200 S.W. 8th Street, Miami, Florida. Tickets are $50 until May 8, $75 at the door. For ticket purchases, please visit www.bluemissions.org/2015bluecocktail/.
