When artists talk about their “work”, they can be talking about two different things. There’s the artwork, the finished product, framed and hung on a gallery wall. Then there’s the day to day stuff of creating the artwork itself such as searching for inspiration leading to an idea, deciding how to express it, applying paint to canvas, etc. By letting go of our egos and sharing the process, we allow others to have ongoing connections with us and our work.
