As the preeminent international service organization of the United States, the Peace Corps sends Americans abroad to tackle the most pressing needs of people around the world. Peace Corps Volunteers work at the grassroots level toward sustainable change that lives on long after their service—at the same time becoming global citizens and serving their country.
This and other “Conversations with Returned Peace Corps Volunteers” is a part of the Peace Corps Prep at FIU. This program is managed by FIU’s Office of Global Learning Initiatives, through a formal partnership with the Peace Corps national office. Students will gain skills and experiences that make them competitive applicants for the Peace Corps and other international development positions. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be formally recognized by FIU and the Peace Corps.
Roland Alexander Foulkes will be sharing his global peace and health work and their contributions to his service in Peace Corps Ghana.
