The Miami chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier Miami (LDEM), a prominent national culinary organization comprised of distinguished women leaders in food, wine, and hospitality, will host its annual Escoffier gala dinner on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Mandarin Oriental Miami, 500 Brickell Key. This year’s black tie event will honor award-winning Chef Cindy Hutson with the third LDEM Achievement Award as well as celebrate the Miami chapter’s 15th anniversary. The event will begin at 6:30PM, with champagne and elegant canapés; while a memorable three-course dinner including decadent beef tournedos with foie gras, as well as seafood and vegetarian selections and a choice of desserts and wines, is slated to begin at 8PM. Hosted by FOX Channel 7 newscaster, Belkys Nerey, the gala will also feature a silent auction of luxury items, with donations going to Les Dames’ educational programs.
