The Diamond Ball ranks among the top fundraisers in Florida and is recognized by society’s elite as the launch of the South Florida gala season. As Miami Children’s Health System’s premier signature event, the Diamond Ball pays tribute to the Hospital’s grateful patients, world-class physicians and generous philanthropists, and helps to raise funds to position Miami Children’s as a world leader and global destination for pediatric health and wellness.
Invited guests experience a spectacular themed black-tie affair with a stylish cocktail soiree featuring entertainment, a sensational silent auction and much more.
The event attracts an esteemed group of business, community and philanthropic notables with strong international connections and the common bond of making a difference in the lives of children. During the event, the Foundation will introduce their Ambassador David M. Walters International Pediatric Hall of Fame 2015 inductee. Past honorees include Juanes, Beyoncé, Dwyane Wade, Barbara and Jack Nicklaus, Audrey Hepburn, Walt Disney, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Juanes and most recently, Romero Britto.
