On September 12th and 13th, 2015 Life Is Art in partnership with Buskerfest, YO Miami, Kondoit, Indiegals, Celebrate Diversity Miami, Eat Your Poem, and Elwoods GastroPub brought an arts street party to downtown Miami, the DWNTWN Arts Fair, Part of DWNTWN ART DAYS, Located along NE 3rd Avenue between NE 1st and 2nd Street, this free, family friendly show, the DWNTWN Arts Fair was a family-friendly street fest filled with art, music, crafts, and performance with the goal to foster the growth of all the different artistic elements that make up our city’s culture.
Event highlights included an art exhibition of local artists curated by Life Is Art, live music and performances organized by Buskerfest, local urban artists and live painting showcase by YOMiami & Kondoit, photo-voice activities by Celebrate Diversity Miami, social-issues brainstorming meal with FoodSpark: Miami, pop-up Artisanal Tienda of arts & handcrafted works by Indiegals, and a pop-Up Poetry Station with Eat Your Poem.
Music performances by Christ Fellowship, GPS Trio, Funky Serve Bots, Gypsy Cat, The Bows and Ties, Celestial and Liam O’Brien, and Pocket of Lollipops.
