The Great Thanksgiving Banquet Outreach & Block Party to feed the homeless and needy of South Florida on Thanksgiving Day with Jani-King the King of Clean and Scott Evans Productions Sponsors. Over 3,000 Thanksgiving meals will be served on Miami Rescue Mission/Broward Outreach Centers 3 Campuses. Haircuts start at 8AM on the Miami Campus
The Miami Rescue Mission | Broward Outreach Centers will provide over 3,000 traditional Thanksgiving meals for the homeless and hungry of Miami-Dade and Broward County at The Great Thanksgiving Banquet outdoor block parties. Over 600 volunteers will be serving in various capacities.
Miami and Hollywood will block off a street for a block party while Pompano Festivities will be held outside in their courtyard.
The Miami Rescue Mission | Broward Outreach Centers know Thanksgiving is a time for celebration, fellowship and giving thanks and is eager to provide a festive atmosphere to the homeless and hungry of South Florida. All three campuses will be holding their annual outdoor block party at The Great Thanksgiving Banquet Outreach to make the day special for those in the greatest of need. MRM | BOC expects over 100 homeless men and women to abandon the streets and enter their life-changing programs.
In addition to a traditional Thanksgiving meal, coffee has been graciously donated by the THX Co. and there will be entertainment at each location for both children and adults, including live music with a special performance by Worship Jesus Fellowship at the Miami campus, entertainment provided by Scott Evans Productions at the Hollywood campus, and a bounce house, face painting, and fun family activities at our Pompano campus. Clothing and hygienic products will also be given to individuals and families in need at all campuses, as well as haircuts and medical education and services.
Honorary guests for the Miami campus are Ron Book, Chairman of the Homeless Trust, Power 96 FM’s, DJ Ivy; Miss Haiti Petite 2016, Diana Adeee; and Miss Miami Tropic 2015, Nicole Garchitorena. Honorary guests at Pompano campus are Ms. Andrea McGee, running for representative of Congress District 22 FL and board member, John Liotta.
