Meet Dr. Jennifer C. Veilleux, Geographer, Photographer, Artist.

Dr. Jennifer C. Veilleux is a river geographer who researches changes to transboundary rivers, rivers that cross political boundaries, in countries in transition around the world to further scientific understanding of these dynamic systems. She travels to locations of large-scale dam development projects to document stories and photograph people being displaced by these projects. She currently works on a project on the Mara River in Tanzania for Florida International University and on a personal photography project: Portraits from Rivers of Change.
