WHO/WHAT: Inspired by the Byzantine Empire and in line with some of the Middle East’s finest culinary masters, Fooq’s brings a fresh new experience to fine cuisine and casual dining. Fooq’s and Friends will host its next installment of the series ”Byzantine Nights,” which features Chef Roel Alcudia Chef of Mandolin Aegean Bistro alongside Fooq’s Chef Bryan Rojas. Inspired by the Middle East, Turkish, Persian and Greek flavors will blend to create an assortment of colorful and cultural dishes.
WHEN: Thursday, June 23rd Fooq’s is offering two seating options, 7 PM and 9 PM, for guests to indulge in this exotic dining experience.
WHERE: Fooq’s is located at 1035 N. Miami Ave. (Downtown Miami) next door to The Corner Bar.
DETAILS: Unwind with a selection of hookahs and artful belly dancing performances to connect with the splendor, ritual, and mystery of the Middle East. DJ Manumat will also be playing Middle Eastern themed beats to set an entrancing aura for the evening.
MENU: To start, the mezes will feature unique tasting dips and spreads along with alluring flatbreads, followed by a delicious watermelon salad to diverge the pallet. As the main course, zestful kebobs and salt baked fish will have your mouth watering for the final course, Turkish rice pudding.
