Transport yourself to a world of gritty Miami pride; a blend of old school 305 and in-your-face art experiences as Secret Garden presents a 5 Year celebration for Mr. Nice Guy Records.

When we found out that his label, Mr. Nice Guy Records, was ready to celebrate its 5th birthday, we jumped at the opportunity to help Jesse Perez, the label’s owner, recreate the Miami he’s known for embracing. Recalling those days that Jesse spent in the ‘90s grinding on chongitas to Miami booty-bass music at backyard jams, we aim to transport you into a world of gritty Miami pride; a blend of Jesse’s old school 305 and the in-your-face art experiences that Secret Garden has brought to Wynwood.

Mr. Nice Guy Records is a smooth-yet-dirty coalescence of old school ‘90s hip hop and glorified Miami sleaze with a touch of funk. For the past five years, they’ve been pushing bass-infused, ass-clapping music, successfully exporting an entire Miamian party culture to international dance floors. This label has given birth to an impressive cast of top DJs, including Sex Sells, Mika Materazzi, Dakap, and of course, Jesse “El Sucio” Perez himself.

Get schooled in the art of graffiti and breakdancing in an immersive interactive experience. Beats and bass will be flying, and booties will be bouncing to the sounds of Mr. Nice Guy Records’ crew at a soon to be announced location in our very backyard, Wynwood. In a tribute to Hialeah house party traditions, expect red cups, complimentary croquetas and pastelitos-without the abuelitas-and a whole lot of bumping ‘n’ grinding.
