These captivating and colorful plants that our Mothers and Grandmothers loved are always a welcome addition to a windowsill or table top. Learn from this talented African Violet society member how to grow and keep your plants alive. Water, soil, light, pest control, growing tips and propagation will be covered. There will be a demonstration of how to start plants from leaves and students will take home leaves from a beautiful African Violet to grow at home. You’ll learn about the local Caribbean Basin African Violet & Gesneriad Society and they will have detailed “how to” handouts available. There will be African Violets available For Sale; that cannot be purchased at your local grocery store.
