Orchestra Miami opens its Tenth Anniversary Season with a spectacular concert in the acoustically perfect auditorium of Miami’s Scottish Rite Temple! Revel in the Romance of Rachmaninoff, the Passion of Piazzola and the elegance and excitement of Tchaikovsky in this concert which features our stellar string section, along with special guests Tomás Cotik, violinist and Eglise Gutierrez, soprano, conducted by Orchestra Miami’s Artistic Director, Elaine Rinaldi. The program includes Mozart’s Divertimento for strings, K. 136, Piazzola’s sexy and passionate Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas (the Argentinean Four Seasons) with Tomas Cotik as the violin soloist, Tchaikovsky’s lush and exciting Serenade for Strings in C Major and Rachmaninoff’s romantic Vocalise, featuring Ms. Gutierrez as the soloist, led by Orchestra Miami’s Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi.
