As part of its mission to raise awareness of conscious living in a heady, fun-filled environment, SEED hosts the nation’s first Plant-Based Burger Battle™ presented by Whole Foods and Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort on Thursday, November 5th. Chefs from restaurants around the country, including Sun Café (Los Angeles), Next Level Burger (Bend, OR), Arlo’s (Austin), jugofresh (Miami) della test kitchen (Miami) and Malibu Farms at Eden Roc (Miami Beach) will compete. Judges of the battle will include Lee Schrager, founder and executive director of South Beach Wine & Food Festival, four-time NBA champion John Salley and Sef Gonzalez, Miami-based “Burger Beast” blogger and founder of the soon-to-open Burger Museum.
