On Saturday, July 29th, Perkins+Will Miami and PlusUrbia Design are leading a first-of-its-kind workshop that invites the community to weigh-in on plans to bring Coconut Grove into its next era. Hosted by the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District (BID), the workshop will showcase the uniqueness of the Grove, which is known for its history, character and lush tree-lined streets. These elements will be taken into consideration throughout the workshop, and incorporated into the design team’s vision. This unique crowdsourcing event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and includes an introductory presentation, workshop for hands-on public input and final public presentations.
