FPL Invites Families to Beat the Heat at the BB&T Center with an Innovative Cooling Station

Broward County residents are invited to cool off and join the fun at Florida Power & Light Company’s Cooling Station during the BB&T Center’s Disney On Ice events.

Guests will take a moment to “chill” out by walking into a larger-than-life ice cube that refreshes with music and a cold blast of liquid nitrogen, along with a video souvenir of their experience.

The Cooling Station showcases how customers can beat the heat this summer with FPL’s energy-saving tips and tools – including the new mobile app and the Online Home Energy Survey – and turn themselves into energy experts by taking control of their usage and bill.

This event is free and open to the public.
