You are invited to enjoy a rare meet and greet and art talk at the Sagamore Hotel with the French-Israeli sculptor Idan Zareski, who now calls Miami home. He will be surrounded by the largest collection of Bigfoots in one location including his latest sculpture “And So?” which serves an allegory for peace between Israel and Palestine. Without taking a single art class, Idan creates his Bigfoot sculptures by instinct and emotion rather than drawings or sketches. He will be joined by the Sagamore’s resident art advisor, Sebastien Laboureau, who will also discuss the framework of the hotel’s Peace 70 exhibition, which celebrates both the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel and the Sagamore Hotel.
