The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale in partnership with Bobby Rodriguez, producer of the world renowned Florida Renaissance Festival, have created the first annual Fort Lauderdale Pirate Festival presented by iUniforms at Esplanade Park on the New River in Downtown Fort Lauderdale on May 12, 2018 from 11am to 7pm.
This extraordinary one day free event will feature exciting Pirate Themed Raft and Paddle Board Races, Live Entertainment, Pirate Encampments, a Beer Garden, Food Vendors, Arts & Crafts Vendors, Children’s Area with large climb aboard Pirate Ship, Face Painting, Games and fun for all ages. Plenty of contests including best dressed pirates of all ages.
Corporate teams, Schools and Organizations will compete in the raft races for fun prizes with all net proceeds directly benefiting the Fort Lauderdale Rotary Club’s 1090 Foundation (501c3) which provides college and vocational scholarships for deserving local High School Seniors and funding for various
community service projects.
