Meet and greet artist Tim Forman at the Gay & Lesbian Business Exchange (GLBX) Council of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s July networking mixer at the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society.

Both members and non-members are welcome at this complimentary after-work evening of food, drinks and incredible networking opportunities that will showcase The Art of Tim Forman – colorful and impressionist landscapes of Florida, now on display at the New River Inn on the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society Campus.

The grandson of famous Davie dairy farmer, Hamilton Forman, Tim’s family story is intertwined with how arts, health, education, industry and economics have developed over the past century in Broward County. Forman uses field sketches, plein air paintings, and photographs to compose his pieces that are painted in layers with both knife and brush. He creates his landscapes to portray the splendor and simplicity of the natural world around us.
