Did you know that, nationwide, just 20% of individuals with disabilities, over age 16, are employed? Victory Living Programs is hosting Job-A-Palooza, a professional development event to help high school and college students (ages 14-21) with disabilities prepare for future employment opportunities. Businesses from all industries, peer mentors (ages 16-21), and students are invited to participate in this half-day event to help combat the high unemployment rate among individuals with disabilities in South Florida. Students will have the chance to interact with supportive peer mentors, learn job-related skills and meet potential employers.
