Join some of Miami’s newest and most exciting singers as they go #TBT back to the ’80s and ’90s. Accompanied by a pianist and string quartet, they go back a few eras to demonstrate how pure, unvarnished music stands in contrast to the overproduced, overhyped pop Billboard hits of today.This particular concert is #Throwback Thursday, and it features songs you don’t hear nowadays. I’m particularly fond of the 80s, so there are songs including “Everybody Wants to Save the World,” “Time after Time,” “Careless Whisper,” and “Melt with You.” Donations will be requested to benefit the breakfast club of homeless ministries of the First United Methodist Church of Miami.
