Heart Gallery of Broward County & Truluck’s will present the second annual Tru-Hearts Luncheon on Tuesday, February 12, at noon, at Truluck’s restaurant at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. This year’s luncheon, which spotlights those who are making a difference in the lives of children and families, will honor Melissa Milroy, senior marketing manager for The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. The luncheon will also feature informal modeling, networking opportunities, a raffle and a chance to meet the Heart Gallery leadership team.
A proud Fort Lauderdale native, Melissa Milroy proudly serves as senior marketing manager for The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, recognized as Broward County’s premier shopping destination. She joined the Galleria’s marketing team 25 years ago, and in that time, forged numerous partnerships to benefit the community. She is the powerhouse behind the destination’s largest philanthropic campaigns, corporate sponsorship programs and initiatives including the sold-out 12th Annual South Florida Ford Men of Style presented by Signature Grand which, this year, raised more than $95,000 for family charities including ARC Broward, Covenant House, Kids in Distress, Jack & Jill Children’s Center, HANDY and Take Stock in Children of Broward County.
A huge fan of community investment and of uniting area business and philanthropic partners to better serve the interests of Fort Lauderdale and help it thrive as a complete, unified region, Milroy serves on the boards of the Transportation Management Association, Beach Council of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and Heart Gallery of Broward County. She is a member of the Marketing Advisory Committee of the Greater Fort Lauderdale CVB and the International Council of Shopping Centers and recently became a Riverwalk Trustee.
She has been recognized as a family and community advocate with awards from the Boys & Girls Clubs, the March of Dimes and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets are $100 per person with complimentary valet parking courtesy of The Galleria. To purchase tickets and learn more, please visit blacktie-southflorida.com.
