Fresh produce, artisan items, baked goods, art, coffee and more are coming to Surfside starting on Sunday, September 15, 2019 during the town’s first ever Surfside Farmers Market. The community event, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday in the parking lot on the corner of 95th Street and Collins Avenue. The Surfside Farmers Market is the brainchild of Javier Valmana, a Surfside resident who is passionate about all things local. It will be located in the heart of Surfside’s Downtown District and will be just a block away from the beach. The diverse list of vendors includes Wavey Acai Bowls, BeCultured (tempeh), Baguette Plus (baked goods), Coco watt (natural fruit slushees), Mind of Art (artistic furniture and house decor), Cauliflower Bites, Soapciety (cosmetic products), Garden Element (plants), WithCoffee and more. www.townofsurfsidefl.gov / 305-861-4863
