Brickell Avenue Literary Society welcomes South Florida book lovers to experience the vibrant literary club at its upcoming luncheon with famed Author Jeanette Winterson, who will serve as guest of honor and discuss her latest novel, Frankissstein: A Love Story. Longlisted for the 2019 Booker Prize, Frankissstein is an audacious love story that weaves together disparate lives into an exploration of transhumanism, artificial intelligence, and queer love. During the upcoming luncheon, members and participants will enjoy an engaging talk by Winterson, along with a signed copy of her book. Non-members are welcome to attend up to two literary events per season and are only required to pay the event fee, which is $50 per person; $30 for young professionals 35 and under. Annual memberships start at $250 for an individual and $95 for young professionals, and are fully tax-deductible.
