WHAT: Miami-based Sedano’s Supermarkets, the leading independent Hispanic grocer in the U.S., announces the grand opening of its 35th store in Florida and its 10th location in Hialeah, the city where the storied retailer was founded in 1962.

With almost 100 new employees, the 35,000-square-foot store introduces Sedano’s new look and decor and includes an expansive Hot Food Station and Sandwich Bar with ample seating.

The first 200 customers will receive a complimentary reusable branded grocery bag with
a Sedano’s gift card ranging between five dollars and $200.

Grand opening month festivities to include:
Special offers such as buy one get one deals, including gallon of Sedano’s milk and Café La Llave 10-ounce coffee.
Pastelito Party: Daily Nov. 6 – Nov. 13
Cafecito Power Hour: Daily Nov. 6 – Nov. 20 from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Live cooking demonstrations with Sedano’s brand partner Goya Foods

WHO: Community and civic leaders including City of Hialeah Mayor Carlos Hernandez will join Sedano’s Chief Executive Officer Agustín Herrán and José Herrán Jr., Chief Operating Officer, in the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony. Sedano’s Chief Marketing Officer Javier Herrán will be available for media interviews.
