Santa welcomes children of all ages and abilities at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, recognized as Broward County’s premier shopping destination. This compassionate, sensory-friendly Santa Cares event happening on Sunday, November 24, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., on the Upper Level near Macy’s, allows families with children with all spectrums of special needs to experience the time-honored tradition of a Santa visit, in a comforting environment prior to public hours. Accommodations are made to support the sensory, physical, and developmental needs of this special audience. A portion of proceeds from photo packages purchased will benefit Arc Broward.

The sensory friendly Santa Cares event is held in partnership with Cherry Hill Programs and Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. The organization does this through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.
