Inspired by Babenco’s personal journey, MY HINDU FRIEND stars four-time Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man, The Lighthouse, The Florida Project) as “Diego”, a talented American filmmaker, whose life is quickly disrupted after being diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. Through a series of heart-wrenching events, Diego’s life is changed forever when he befriends a young Hindu boy.
