“A Cup with Heart” comes to participating Starbucks locations throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties during American Heart Month to help educate our communities about prevention and risk reduction strategies of heart disease, the leading cause of death in both women and men in the U.S.

Starbucks will provide a free cup of coffee and pastry, along with a raffle ticket for a gift basket to guests completing heart screenings to encourage awareness and prevention during American Heart Month.

The Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative (WBHI) and collaborating hospital partners Baptist Health South Florida and Jackson Health System come together to offer a series of heart screenings including cholesterol, hypertension and glucose. WBHI will also provide the education tools to help reduce risk, manage levels and promote early detection, while modeling a healthy lifestyle.
