The new free series takes place on the second Thursday of each month.
Guy is author of Piercing the Veil: A Skeptical Journalist Discovers Unseen Worlds (ttlharmony Publishing). During this special engagement, he will discuss his deeply personal and engrossing memoir of mystifying events and mystical experiences that brought deep and profound meaning to his life – after he had all but given up hope. Viewers may register at http://bit.ly/HFLMeetTheAuthorGuy.
Kingsley Guy was employed by South Florida’s Sun Sentinel newspaper for 30 years, including 23 as editorial page editor. During his career, he had assignments in the Middle East, India, Russia, and China, and conversed with hundreds of prominent newsmakers, including John McCain, Hillary Clinton, John Glenn, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Madeleine Albright. He has been a frequent guest on radio and television. Before Piercing the Veil: A Skeptical Journalist Discovers Unseen Worlds, the winner of a prestigious Nautilus Book Award, he wrote the critically acclaimed novel, Queen of the Heavens, set in ancient Egypt. Both books are Amazon #1 Bestsellers and are available on Amazon in print and e-book form.
Kingsley Guy joins Donn R. Colee, Jr. as part of History Fort Lauderdale’s prestigious “Meet the Author” series, a chance to converse with South Florida-based writers, launched in February. The April 8 edition will feature John Bailey, author of A New River Runs Through It. Upcoming novelists will be announced.
