Funding Arts Broward Virtual Spring Annual Meeting to Feature Gold Coast Jazz Society’s Pam Dearden and Tim Ingham

Funding Arts Broward (FAB), a nonprofit volunteer-based arts organization committed to supporting, sustaining, and enriching the arts in Broward County, will present its Spring Annual Meeting, virtually, on Tuesday, March 23, from noon – 1 p.m. The free program will be livestreamed via FAB’s YouTube channel (RSVP required) and will feature a FAB year-in-review presentation plus an address from special guest speakers and FAB grantee Gold Coast Jazz Society’s Tim Ingham and Pam Dearden. Entertainment will be provided by the Gold Coast Jazz Society.
Pam Dearden has served as executive director of the Gold Coast Jazz Society since 2004. With over 30 years of experience in arts management and arts administration, she has lent her talents and knowledge in the areas of business, education, outreach and grants to the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, Florida’s Singing Sons Boychoir and The Opera Guild of Fort Lauderdale. Dearden is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2008 ArtServe Arts Administrator Award, the 1997 Encore Award for Individual Leadership in the Arts, the Cultural Foundation of Broward’s Star Award for volunteerism, and a “Women of Style and Substance” awardee. She has been affiliated with many professional and local civic organizations including American Symphony Orchestra League; Broward Cultural Council’s Arts in Education Committee; Broward County Music Teachers Association; Women’s Executive Club; past chair of the Cultural Executive Committee for the Broward Cultural Council; Cultural Foundation of Broward; National Society of Fund Raising Executives (NSFRE); National Association of the Teachers of Singing; past member of the Philharmonic Society and Opera Society among others.
Tim Ingham is the board president of the Gold Coast Jazz Society and has served the organization for more than 10 years in the areas of artistic programming, scholarship, development and marketing. He’s also president of the HI Foundation and a founding member of the Solarian Jazz Club. Ingham has also served as past trustee of Pine Crest School and on the board of the Broward Public Library Foundation. When not developing his musician skills, Ingham is busy in the media, real estate, investment and finance sectors as the chairman of American National Bank, as vice president of Asterisk, Inc. and as a board member of Hubbell Realty, Inc.
