The Friends of Jack & Jill Center invite everyone to leave their heels and ties at home to attend their renowned signature event, the 16th Annual MEDNAX Flip Flops on the Docks presented by MOSS, at the newly renovated Lauderdale Yacht Club on Saturday, May 8 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
This casual soirée overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway will feature relaxed tropical beach décor, delicious drinks, fabulous food, and live music on the docks at Lauderdale Yacht Club. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on luxurious items in live and virtual silent auctions, while enjoying the panoramic backdrop of Fort Lauderdale.
All proceeds from Flip Flops on the Docks will provide scholarships to low-income, working families in the community. These scholarships provide children and their families with high quality early childhood education and family intervention and support. Through their programs, Jack & Jill Center aims to break the barriers of social and educational inequity by providing quality education to all children, regardless of income, so that they may reach their greatest potential.
The Friends of Jack & Jill Center thank the sponsors for their generous support. MEDNAX is serving as the event’s Title Sponsor and MOSS is the Presenting Sponsor. Amerijet is the VIP Sponsor and the Premier Sponsor is Herman Construction.
Event sponsorships ranging from $2,500–$10,000 are still available at www.flipflopsonthedocks.com. Naming opportunities are available for $5,000 per naming right. Tickets will be available in late March for $175 for General Admission and $250 for VIP. The Lauderdale Yacht Club member sponsors are Anna and Mark Carpenter.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Jack & Jill Center is following all CDC guidelines including social distancing efforts and mandatory face masks for entry. The organization is monitoring updates from Broward County and public health officials, and will continue to respond based on their guidelines.
