The 39th edition of Miami Dade College’s acclaimed Miami Film Festival returns March 4-13, 2022, in a hybrid format – with both in-theater and virtual presentations. Considered the preeminent film festival for showcasing Ibero-American cinema in the U.S., this year’s Miami Film Festival will celebrate more than 120 feature narratives, documentaries, and short films of all genres, from more than 35 countries worldwide. The 10-day festival will open and close with two Oscar-shortlisted films, Fernando León de Aranoa’s Spanish comedy The Good Boss and Abner Benaim’s Panamanian drama Plaza Cathedral. In addition to spectacular movie screenings, Miami Film Festival also hosts dozens of world-class events, fabulous parties, workshops, masterclasses, and industry happy hours every year.
