Downtown Doral Hosts Family-Friendly Dias De Los Muertos Celebration

Downtown Doral is turning Halloween from dark and spooky to light and colorful with a family-friendly Dias De Los Muertos celebration! Visitors can pose for photos with live Catrinas and Catrins, the iconic symbol of the holiday, and a custom, six-foot-tall Skull named “Flora” that will be made entirely of vibrant and colorful silk flowers. The event will also feature a live DJ, photographer, and of course, there will be lots of candy.

Come dressed as a Catrin or Cantrina yourself and you may win a $100 gift card to a Downtown Doral restaurant of your choice! There will also be a costume contest for kids; one child dressed as a Catrin and one dressed as a Catrina will win special prizes!

Select restaurants will also be running Dias De Los Muertos specials and will feature activities, such as candy giveaways.

Event is free and open to the public.
