The GLBX (Gay and Lesbian Business Exchange) of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce will present its fourth annual Business Community Ally (BCA) Awards on Thursday, November 3, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., at Galleria Fort Lauderdale. This event will recognize and highlight individuals and corporate entities that are successfully doing business with the LGBT+ community, defining and implementing diversity and inclusion policies and/or supporting worthy related causes.
This year’s honorees are Stephanie Schneider of Law Office of Stephanie L. Schneider P.A. (Business Ally), Wells Fargo (Business Leader), Jimmy Cunningham of Cunningham Smith Group of Remax Experience (Legacy ), Jacqueline Lorber and Sebrina Maria Alfonso of South Florida Symphony Orchestra (Impact ) and Fort Lauderdale City Commissioner Steve Glassman (Visionary).
Guests will enjoy a networking cocktail reception as they mix and mingle with community movers and shakers at Galleria Fort Lauderdale. Wine, light bites and entertainment will complement the awards ceremony which will be presented by local business leaders and sponsors.
The GLBX Business Community Ally Awards are presented by Memorial Healthcare System and sponsored by Galleria Fort Lauderdale, Season’s 52, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants and GPR | Goodman Public Relations.
