In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Art of Hip Hop will honor Lucy Lopez (formerly of Power 96), Supa Cindy (99 Jamz), and Stichiz (103.5 The Beat) for their impact on Miami’s music and Hip Hop culture with a special open-to-the-public panel discussion on March 15th at 6:30 PM. The discussion will celebrate their rise in a male-dominated industry, highlighting Lucy Lopez’s 15+ years as the Voice of Miami, Stichiz’s dynamic multilingual Hip Hop artistry and community leadership, and Supa Cindy’s influential role at 99 Jamz and her collaborative projects, like an all-female album with Trina among others. Each has uniquely contributed to the landscape of Miami’s Hip Hop scene through their careers in media and music. The Art of Hip Hop will also be presenting awards to these women for their achievements.
