NAMI Miami-Dade Presents the Second Annual South Florida Suicide Awareness Conference – Honest Talk About Suicide and a Message of Hope

NAMI Miami-Dade County – the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness – will host its second annual South Florida Suicide Awareness Conference – Honest Talk About Suicide and a Message of Hope – on Saturday, April 20 at the Newman Alumni Center at the University of Miami. The free half-day conference will run from 9:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. and feature a nationally recognized keynote speaker as well as expert presentations and resources on mental health and suicide prevention. Conference goers will learn more about suicide, its causes, preventative measures, and surviving a loss. Registration and breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m. The conference is free to attend; however, registration is requested.
