OYC Miami is celebrating its 20th year anniversary with a fundraising event “It’s All Overtown” 20th Year Celebration Platinum Affair, taking place at the newly constructed and redesigned center on April 13, 2024. Founded by NBA Hall-of-Famer Alonzo Mourning, OYC Miami is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire, empower, and enrich the lives of youth, adults, and families by providing a comprehensive and long-term approach to strengthening communities. The fundraising event will commemorate two decades of service to children, families, and adults in urban communities across Miami-Dade and South Florida, in addition to celebrating the grand opening of OYC Miami’s new facility, which was completed in July 2023. Throughout the evening guests will have the opportunity to savor on local fare by some of Miami’s most notable eateries including Il Gabbiano, Prime 112, Major Food Group, Red Rooster Overtown, Josh’s Premium Meats, and il Cucchiaio, while enjoying live music featuring a close out performance from American R&B singer-songwriter Ne-Yo.
