Join Orchestra Miami as we travel to the most musical city on earth- Vienna! In this program, we will explore two major musical masterpieces in miniature, Richard Strauss’ epic tone poem Til Eulenspiegel, arranged for 7 instruments by Rick Robinson and Gustav Mahler’s charming and poignant Lieder eines Fahrenden Gesellen, arranged for small ensemble by Arnold Schoenberg. The program is bookended by frothy and fun waltzes by Johann Strauss, performed in arrangements for small orchestra by Schoenberg.
Baritone Benjamin Howard joins the Chamber Soloists of Orchestra Miami, conducted by Elaine Rinaldi.
