This summer, Escape Rooftop Bar, the gorgeous al fresco space atop the Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, has become a local favorite for its amazing sunset views, creative cocktails and tempting tapas. On Thursday, August 15, it will be the site for the launch of a special Sunset Chef’s Table dinner series from hotel Executive Chef Michael Mayer. Featuring coastal Italian cuisine from the lobby level restaurant La Fuga, the six-course culinary experience will be paired with wines from the portfolio of French vintner, Château D’Esclans.

The wine pairings will be presented by Alex Diard, a global brand ambassador at Château D’Esclans since 2015, who will be on hand to guide diners through the premium rosé selections from Provence, that will be served alongside the exquisitely curated coastal Italian specialties prepared by Chef Mayer.
