November marks the return of Miami-Dade Farmers Month, the annual celebration highlighting the county’s rich agricultural heritage and vibrant farming community. Presented by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, the program invites locals and visitors to learn about and enjoy South Dade’s farms and related businesses from November 1 to November 30. A few of the participating locations include:
• Fruit & Spice Park: a 37-acre tropical paradise that showcases more than 500 varieties of fruits, spices, herbs, and exotic plants from around the world.
• Knaus Berry Farm: a nostalgic glimpse into the area’s farming roots, with mouthwatering cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, and homemade jams.
• RedLander Restaurant at Schnebly Winery: where every dish is crafted with locally sourced ingredients and paired with tropical fruit wines.
• Stubborn Seed: the Michelin-starred gem by renowned chef Jeremy Ford.
• And farmers markets including the Legion Park Farmers Market, Little Bahamas Foodie & Farmers Market and the Vizcaya Village Farmers Market.
