Experience Healthy Families Weekend at Miami Children’s Museum on Saturday, January 11th, and Sunday, January 12th, featuring engaging hands-on activities that promote children’s health and safety. Families can explore creative ways to support healthy development and discover resources to enhance well-being. Activities include Calm Threads in the Art Studio, where kids can create vibrant yarn-wrapped letters inspired by Nicole Nikolich’s yarn graffiti, encouraging mindfulness and self-expression through art. In the Active Play area of the Baptist Gallery, children can participate in fun sports games and physical challenges that highlight the importance of staying active. Over in the Health & Wellness Classroom, kids can prioritize mental health by crafting their own stress relievers, learning techniques to help ease worries and anxieties.
