American Heritage Schools invites the community to join them for its 17th Annual 5K for a Better Day on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 8 a.m. Organized by the dedicated Pre-Med students, this event promotes wellness, unity and hope while raising funds for the Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital at Broward Health Medical Center. For over 25 years, the Pre-Medical Program through the Pre-Med Society has led impactful service projects benefiting pediatric cancer patients. The 5K for a Better Day is one of four key events, alongside the Superhero Party, Pre-Med Gala and Holiday Party, that create lasting joy and support for these courageous children battling cancer. Funds raised from the 5K and the Gala help fulfill holiday wish lists for young patients, bringing smiles when they need it most.
