The Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative (WBHI)—a leader in disease prevention and early detection— Open the Door to the Future Dinner Dance is hosted by co-chairs, Caroline Goeseke, entrepreneur and senior leadership, Cervera Real Estate, joined by Andres Correa, president and founding partner, Solution Construction.

“This year’s event celebrates 20 years for our organization with an eye on the future,” said Andrea Ivory, WBHI’s founder and executive director. “We are delighted to bring in a third-generation philanthropist Caroline Goeseke, and Latin Builders Association alum Andres Correa to our committed cause for social good. Their spirit and dedication will further energize our movement to help reinforce the mission of disease prevention and early detection for positive outcomes and healthy communities.”

The premier social fundraising event welcomes back sponsor, WPLG Local 10 with Emmy Award-winning newscaster Calvin Hughes and Emmy-award winning journalist and the director of WPLG’s Community Relations Department, Mayte Padron as the masters of ceremonies. Uniting the South Florida community in the prevention and early detection of breast cancer and heart disease, Open the Door to the Future Dinner Dance offers an evening of delectable cuisine prepared by Turnberry’s world-renowned chefs, cocktails, music featuring Jon Saxx, silent and live auctions.

The momentous occasion is projected to draw more than 400 guests including community leaders and professionals from across South Florida. Guests can bid on luxury gifts, memorabilia, experiences, and other high value items including a world class voyage from Princess Cruises. Proceeds from this event will help fund the disease prevention and early detection services WBHI provides to low-income individuals and college students in the South Florida community.
