Join us and Third Horizon Film Festival for the opening night screening of the documentary feature Koutkekout, followed by an afterparty on our waterfront terrace.

Third Horizon Film Festival (THFF), an annual celebration of cinema from the Caribbean and its diaspora, returns for its eighth edition. This year’s THFF opening film is the Florida premiere of the Haiti-set documentary Koutkeout (At All Kosts) by Joseph Hillel, 2024. A testament to the resistance and courage of a people, the film is an immersive portrait of the Quatre Chemins theater festival in Port-au-Prince, and the extraordinary group of artists who keep it going year after year, whatever the cost.

Following the film and a Q&A with director Joseph Hillel, continue the night on the bayfront terrace for an afterparty with local DJs, community activations, and a live performance.

Schedule
7–9pm Screening of Koutkekout and Q&A in the Auditorium
9–11pm Afterparty with DJs and live performance on the East Portico

Tickets are required for the film screening and are included with museum admission. DJ sets and programming on the terrace are free and open to the public.
