The Art Center Residency Program started our own Art Walk on the first Saturday of every month along with the galleries on Lincoln Road. We will have our studios open this Saturday from 7 to 10 and it would be great if you stopped by, had a glass of wine, and hung out. The amazing Smiling Gums are playing at 9 p.m. as well.
My studio is in the first floor of the 924 Art Center Building on Lincoln Road (across from Books and Books) number 110. Please find the invitation attached below.

The first art-walk took place on Saturday, August 1st 2009 from 7-10pm.
On the first Saturday of every month, the Lincoln Rd and Miami Beach art-walk takes place from 7-10pm.
40+ local artists, museums and galleries in South Beach open their doors to share their work with the rest of the world every month on the clock.
The core of the action takes place inside the three Art Center South Florida buildings that host the studios of some of the most important contemporary-artists living in Miami. www.artcentersf.org
The Art Center is located in #924, #810, and #800 buildings on Lincoln Rd. Miami Beach, 33139.
The main subject is Art. The artists and galleries in South Beach open their doors to talk, share, and sell their work at special discounted prices during this art-walk.
Musicians, dancers, writers, media, and celebrities gather every month in South Beach for this urban happening that shows the very best of art in Florida.
This experience is free and open to the public interested on buying or enjoying art.
The art disciplines include:
• Photography
• Painting
• Installation
• Video
• Mix Media
• Glass
Every gallery walk also includes a special guest that varies from local musicians, dancers and other performers that will mingle with the crowd energizing the night.
The artists will be also donating part of the art sales in support to diverse non-profit organizations in SF.
Each month a resident-artist of the Art Center South Florida will design an art piece for the invitation. If you bring each month’s invitation printed (or in your cell phone) you’ll be able to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and wine inside the artist studios. If not, cash bar is also available.
After you get your necessary dose of creativity and art you can also enjoy some of Miami’s best restaurants and bars along Lincoln Rd.
You can also go bowling, movies or even take a quiet stroll along the beautiful Miami beach sand. Everything just a couple of steps away from this amazing and unique art-walk experience.
