The evening features a showcase of some of the best of contemporary and time-honored Cuban rhythms, with three extraordinary musical groups and a DJ.The night begins with Boston based Jazz saxophonist Carlos Averhoff Jr. and his quartet, then the Salsa/Timba ”Miami vs. New York” Dance Party showcasing Br@ily, the amazing Miami-based Timba and Salsa trombone player and singer, whose unique electrifying performances show off his non-stop energy and virtuosity. The evening closes with the New York-based vocalist Jose “Pepito” Gomez and his band, who the New York Times has called “another order of performer.” The M.C. for the night will be a very special Mega TV personality, with DJ’d dancing before, between and after the live shows.
