beScene Magazine will host its official launch and Fall issue release on Saturday, November 7th at the newly renovated SET Nightclub. This monthly lifestyle magazine will celebrate its online debut with a red carpet affair that will feature complimentary cocktails from 10-11pm as well as a full-length fashion show by trendy eco designers Art of Shade. Models will strut down the catwalk in Art of Shade’s new Fall 2009 “Paradigm Shift” collection, which features symbiotic gowns, monochromatic cocktail dresses, and a bevy of recycled separates. Join us for a night of cocktails, social networking and high fashion as we invite you to “be seen” at this seasons most anticipated launch party. The collection allows the wearer to express their inner creative cognizance through symbiotic gowns, monochromatic cocktail dresses, and an alignment of a new concept of separates. Art of Shade releases a visionary concept of attachable and detachable separates called “P.S.” which shift, converge, and morph any look. Recycle/Re-design and pay attention because you might just realize that couture gown is made of a vintage raincoat. Inspired by an equestrian aesthetic and the need to expand our conscious awareness, “Paradigm Shift” is our new path taken.

Stephie v. Make up artist: Stephanie Valdes has had a life-long love affair with fashion, beauty, and style. Stephanie is an accomplished and creative makeup artist with experience in all aspects but not limited to media makeup, fashion, video, theatre and print. Born, raised and residing in Miami, FL. She had a brief brush with modeling only to find, the only brush she was interested in was that to paint. Stephanie pressed her first brush to a canvas at the tender age of 9 and has been under a spell of the arts ever since. Working at a makeup counter at Macy’s is where she discovered and nurtured her niche. She has taken her passion for painting, color experimentation and her love of fashion, and applied them to the art of makeup. Stephanie approaches each new face as “a blank canvas with endless possibilities“.

Geoffrey Sinclair Hair Stylist: Geoffrey Sinclair is an artist, musician and fashion hairstylist. Graduated from Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School in Miami. He loves to challenge himself in every aspect of his work and always tries to bring something new to the table. Fun, positive, hardworking, and extremely creative are qualities that define Geoff and his work.

David D Jaded: Hair stylist and makeup artist, combining a mix of shapes and colors. Graduate of the Beauty Schools of America, David has worked various fashion shows and is the latest member of the beScene creative team. Currently employed at the Qiu Salon and assisting beScene Magazine in hair shoots, upcoming products, local salon interviews and hair “how to’s”.

Kiara Lostal Make-Up Artist: NYC native, Kiara Lostal has been passionate about art since the womb. She applied her charismatic energy to various forms of art such as makeup, dancing, henna art, and drama. Making being her first love, she attended and graduated from the International Makeup Career Center and has worked on many projects such as City of sound TV, Chanel, Various Fashion shows, makeup for dancers, editorial looks, and weddings. Inspired by imagination, Kiara is always striving to be the best creative entity.
